I'm Shayla, an artist based in the Greater Toronto Area. My expertise lies in acrylic painting and live watercolour portrait illustrations. I have an education in landscape architecture and community design, and I love sharing my creative process with others. Painting in front of an audience is my specialty!
I bring a loose, painterly quality to both my acrylic works and to my live watercolour portraits. I draw inspiration from magical lighting effects and otherworldly colour palettes I find in the natural landscape.
